Cyclist and Camera Mystery Teaser
A 15-second, wordless special-edition teaser that turns athlete silhouettes and partial product macros into a dated launch mystery.
Field notes / why it works
The first three seconds make three cuts, moving from a nearly black frame to a yellow backlit cyclist and a 0.37-second symbol clue. A dark device reveal at 0:03.4–0:07.2 keeps the product unidentified, while a 5.39-second emblem hold gives the viewer time to recognize the brand; the cover supplies the specific launch date.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, high-contrast launch teaser associates an unnamed device with an athlete's speed and focus. It shows fragments of the object, withholds its identity, then resolves on a branded symbol and a dated promise in the cover artwork. The reusable engine is human performance → mysterious object → brand cue → date.
Why it works
- The opening moves from near black to a backlit athlete by 0:00.25, and makes three cuts in the first 3 seconds.
- An isolated device glimpse at 0:04.6–0:07.2 invites identification without giving a clean full-product view.
- The final 5.39-second shot holds the symbol; the yellow cover adds the short announcement and exact date.
