Precious Cargo in the Back Seat
A single-shot night ride turns careful cake handling into a late ride-service benefit reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The tiered cake and belted passenger are both legible from 0:00, so a fragile task supplies the hook without setup. A roughly 11.6-second held scene builds attention through careful hand movement and passing night light; the large white benefit line at ~0:11.6 reinterprets the action before a brief black logo card at ~0:13.6.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A passenger carefully steadies a large celebration cake in a moving car. The scene holds long enough for the viewer to grasp both the fragile object and the care it requires; only around 0:11.6 does a white line of copy explain the benefit: “Can’t do that if you’re driving.” A clean logo card closes at about 0:13.6.
Why it works
- The oversized, tiered cake is readable in the first frame, creating a small visual question about whether it will survive the ride (0:00–0:03).
- The camera stays with one person and one task for roughly 11.6 seconds. Her hands and shifting expression supply the motion while the frame remains easy to follow.
- The benefit lands as a late reinterpretation of the action, then leaves roughly 1.4 seconds for the brand card (0:11.6–0:15.0).
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 640×360 source · 25 fps · 15.0 s |
| Pace | One continuous live-action scene followed by one black end card (inferred from sheets): ~2 visual shots, ~1 cut / 4 cuts per minute, ~7.5 s mean; seven measured internal picture changes, ~28 picture changes/min including the cut |
| Script | Automated recognizer reports 31 words and 172 overall wpm, but several words are low confidence and the transcript does not fit the visible action. Treat exact dialogue and word count as unverified; build the new film around action and one copy line. |
| Voice | A young adult passenger speaks casually in scene; use a natural, conversational archetype if dialogue is needed. No narrator is required. |
| On screen | About 90% single live-action car interior; about 10% logo end card (inferred from sheets) |
| Captions | No running subtitles. One large, four-line white headline appears at ~0:11.6. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like bed measured; source and instruments unverified. Integrated −13.0 LUFS; true peak −2.1 dBFS. |
| Structure | Fragile-object hook → care and slight suspense → benefit line → logo hard stop. No spoken CTA or loop. |
