Two-tone phone design reveal
A 14-second phone teaser turns moving camera-module macros into a sparse launch-date invitation.
Field notes / why it works
The first 2 seconds turn a blue lens rim into a visual puzzle, then reveal two device colours by about 2.25 seconds. After roughly 5 seconds of glossy macro imagery, a black reset makes the short claim at 7.0 seconds and event details at 9.4 seconds feel deliberate. Three confirmed card changes give the 14-second clip a clear progression despite zero detector-confirmed cuts and seven uncertain changes in the opening montage.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, widescreen hardware teaser begins so close to a dark blue camera module that its identity is unclear. It reveals two colour variants through glossy macro movement, then withholds the full product and shifts to three sparse black cards: a positioning line, event details and a logo. The promise is visual: a closer look now, with the full announcement later.
Why it works
- At 0–1.75 s, the tight lens rim, blue edge light and camera move create an identity question before any copy appears.
- By 2.25 s, the blue device is readable against the pink one; at 3.5–4.8 s the side and pink module views add a second reveal.
- The event card at about 9.4 s gives the first practical next step after roughly five seconds of product detail and a black, minimal message card.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 14.0 s · measured file 640×360 at 25 fps |
| Pace | 1 machine-detected continuous shot, 0 confirmed cuts/min; 7 uncertain changes at 2.0–5.0 s give a possible ceiling of 30 cuts/min. Three definite card changes at 7.0, 9.4 and 12.6 s; measured mean shot 14.02 s is a detector artifact for this motion-heavy edit. |
| Script | No spoken words; three short text stages after the product montage. |
| Voice | None; no presenter or narrator. |
| On screen | Approx. 0:00–0:05 product macro footage, 0:05–0:13 black text cards, 0:13–0:14 brand mark. |
| Captions | None. Text is centred headline and event information, not subtitles. |
| Sound | Tonal music-like bed detected, roughly 101 BPM (moderate confidence); no reliably identifiable speech or individual effects. Integrated loudness −17.8 LUFS; measured true peak +0.2 dBFS. |
| Structure | 5 stages: ambiguous detail → product/colour reveal → short claim → event invitation → logo. Payoff is the product reveal around 2.25 s; invitation about 9.4 s. |
