Field notes / why it works

A close-up of paper checks and a 50% graphic make the problem tangible in the first two seconds. The 0:14 cloud reveal, 0:27 check UI, and 1:00 payment funnel convert abstract software claims into progressively clearer visual proof. The funnel coincides with the strongest replay span at 1:00.2–1:01.1; 25 detected graphic changes sustain motion across 85 seconds.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

An 85-second, 16:9 B2B SaaS explainer turns a familiar physical problem into a pastel, diagrammatic product story. It opens on hands handling paper checks, quantifies the friction, then uses a cloud hub, connected icons, modified UI, and a payment flow to show how the product changes the work. The promise starts in the first spoken sentence; the named solution arrives around 0:14.

Why it works

  • The opening pairs tactile check footage with an animated 50% statistic by about 0:02, making an abstract AP problem concrete.
  • The product arrives only after the problem is established: cloud reveal at 0:14–0:16, cost figure by 0:24–0:27, then actual check and invoice visuals at 0:31–0:40.
  • The strongest replay span, 1:00.2–1:01.1, shows an animated payment-optimization funnel. It visualizes a complex feature as inputs becoming outputs instead of leaving the viewer with a feature list.
