Wolverine Takes Over the Sphere
A single wide nighttime view turns a giant display into a staged character reveal, ending on a bright yellow hero image.
Field notes / why it works
A 0.5-second brand card cuts to a fixed wide view, so the giant display itself becomes the changing subject; 14 internal changes sustain a roughly 60-second main shot. Blue mystery and silhouettes lead to a warm action world, then a yellow rupture around 0:40–0:49. The clearest hero pose coincides with the strongest replay window at 0:49.1–0:49.8.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A branded launch spectacle plays across one giant display surface in a dark real-world setting. The surface begins as an opaque mystery, reveals a contained world and protagonist, then appears to break open into a high-contrast hero image. The promise is visual: watch this enormous object become a stage for the product.
Why it works
- The first picture change comes at 0:00.5; by 0:01.2, the object carries a compact product message. The viewer knows what to watch while the display remains visually mysterious.
- The camera barely changes: one ~60-second wide shot contains 14 measured internal changes. Anticipation comes from the surface transforming, not from fast cutting.
- The major yellow transformation at 0:40–0:49 is the payoff. The strongest replay window, 0:49.1–0:49.8, lands when the hero resolves against the yellow sphere.
