Hana's Interactive Canvas Reveal
A music-led product launch that moves from animated interaction specimens to the editor that made them.
Field notes / why it works
The first 10 seconds pack eight cuts, moving from a tiny pixel identity to nine icon possibilities, interaction studies, and polished controls before the positioning line at 0:07.1. The most-replayed point at 0:03.0–0:03.2 lands on a dense UI specimen. At 0:16.55 the editor reveals the earlier designs together, making the visual sampler feel like evidence of a real creation tool.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A product announcement played like a compact motion-design reel: a tiny identity reveal, rapid examples, one sentence of positioning, two feature cards, then a glimpse of the creation canvas. The viewer sees the possible output before the software interface; the promise becomes explicit at 0:07.1.
Why it works
- The opening changes from a pixel wordmark at 0:00 to a colorful 3×3 icon grid by 0:00.75, then to animated example grids at 0:01.85. This creates curiosity before any explanation.
- Eight cuts arrive in the first 10 seconds; the 0:03.0–0:03.2 replay peak falls as the dense, dark interface specimen replaces abstract tiles.
- The payoff at 0:16.55–0:24.7 is the actual editor showing the earlier specimens together, linking beautiful output to a tool. The 0:21.9–0:22.1 replay peak is inside that editor passage.

| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9, measured 640×360 at 30 fps · 26.7 s |
| Pace | 17 shots, 16 cuts, 35.9 cuts/min; one measured internal step at 0:06.35; mean shot 1.57 s, median 1.18 s, longest 4.03 s. Moving elements also change within shots. |
| Script | No reliable spoken script. A speech model returned eight fragmented, low-confidence words that do not form narration. The story is carried by specimens and four short text moments. |
| Voice | No visible speaker or usable narration; treat as a music-led film. |
| On screen | 100% designed visuals: motion-graphic specimens, feature cards, and dark editor views. No people. |
| Captions | No subtitles. Sparse centered labels and small native UI copy. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal/music-like bed; rough beat estimate 129 BPM. −17.5 LUFS integrated; −2.9 dBFS true peak. Distinct effects on cuts are not established by the measurements. |
| Structure | Identity → output sampler → promise → construction demo → feature cards → editor reveal → URL/mark. The only clear CTA is the URL at 0:24.7. |
