Six Data Trends Played as Sound
A 24-second vertical motion graphic turns six time-series charts into colored line draws with changing year and value readouts.
Field notes / why it works
The premise is visible at 0:00, while a glowing point immediately draws the first line and drives a year/value counter. Five resets at roughly 0:04, 0:08, 0:12, 0:16, and 0:20 teach a repeatable four-second rhythm without camera cuts; the final falling cost chart changes the visual direction, with a small replay peak at 0:20.5–0:20.8.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent-voice, sound-led sequence turns six AI-related time series into a series of rising or falling line drawings. The same fixed chart, year counter, and numeric readout repeat every four seconds, so the viewer learns the visual rules once and watches for the shape of the next graph.
Why it works
- The white top pill states the premise at 0:00; a glowing data point starts moving immediately, and the first line reaches a dramatic high by 0:02.75.
- The layout resets at 0:04, 0:08, 0:12, 0:16, and 0:20. Six metric reveals fit into 23.6 seconds with zero detected camera cuts.
- The final cost chart reverses the direction of the earlier growth charts: its on-screen readout falls from $19.71 at 0:20.1 to $0.27 at 0:21.8. A replay peak falls at 0:20.5–0:20.8, although the replay signal is small.
