Opsix mkII feature-led launch film
A 65-second synth launch film pairs cool-lit macro footage with numeric feature claims and a full-product hero return.
Field notes / why it works
The whole instrument is visible immediately, and its name appears within two seconds while three opening image and type changes sustain a 5.4-second first shot. Specific claims land on matching details: the 64-voice upgrade over the display around 0:12, hands-on control over knobs at 0:22, and 37 keys over the keyboard at 0:49. A real desktop view at 0:52 makes the form factor tangible before the isolated hero returns at 0:56, the strongest replay point.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished, narrated product launch film reveals a synthesizer against a dark blue stage, moves into macro footage for a sequence of specific feature claims, then places it in a real workspace before a clean hero shot and brand card. The promise is immediate: a named new instrument at 0:01, followed by a concrete 32-to-64-voice improvement at about 0:12–0:21.
Why it works
- The opening shows the whole instrument and its name before the first cut at 0:05.4; three text and image changes in the first three seconds keep the long reveal moving.
- Claims are attached to visible parts: the 64-voice claim sits over the display at 0:12–0:15, hands-on control over knobs at 0:22–0:25, and 37 keys over the keyboard at 0:49–0:51.
- The film shifts from abstract blue stage to a desktop at 0:52–0:56, then returns to a clean hero view. The largest replay peak, 0:55.9–0:56.5, falls on that transition back to the hero (the reason for replays is inferred).
