Field notes / why it works

The opener identifies the product and occasion by 0:03, then a 22.5-second shadowed detail sequence delays the complete hardware view until about 0:40. The large availability card arrives around 0:45, while the matching accessories at 0:50–0:56 coincide with the strongest replay peak at 0:53.1–0:53.7.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A one-minute, music-led launch film turns a special-edition device into a collectible object. It starts with two instantly recognisable identity marks, hides the full product behind dark macro views, reveals its artwork and an in-use moment, then holds the purchase date and matching accessories on screen.

Why it works

  • The opening identifies the hardware by 0:01 and the anniversary by 0:02, so the later darkness reads as anticipation rather than confusion.
  • From 0:03–0:26, one long studio sequence reveals surface details in stages; the complete console is withheld until about 0:40–0:45.
  • The date lands at about 0:45, and the accessory reveal around 0:50–0:55 contains the strongest replay peak (0:53.1–0:53.7).

On screenMostly studio product renders or beauty footage; brief gameplay/in-use inserts around 0:28–0:35; two availability cards and a brand end card.
CaptionsNo spoken-word captions. Small product labels and one large release-date line.
SoundMusic-led, roughly 121 BPM (automated estimate), with little evidence of cut-synced impact effects; −18.1 LUFS integrated, −0.3 dBFS true peak measured.
