Field notes / why it works

The opening holds a drifting, glowing resource field for 5.2 seconds before introducing the crew and the task. A sparse asteroid at 0:10–0:13 visibly becomes a connected factory by 0:20–0:34, then the map and star-system scenes at 0:34–0:59 expand the promise. The final nine seconds give the product name, platform, and action room to register; replay peaks around 0:13, 0:24, and 0:50 coincide with gameplay and exploration visuals.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A warm, animated guide invites the viewer into a colorful world, then demonstrates a small action turning into an elaborate system. The film moves from atmospheric promise (0:00–0:05) to mechanics (0:06–0:34), scale and discovery (0:34–0:59), and a direct availability card (0:59–1:08). The product is shown throughout, so the launch claim arrives after the viewer has seen what it does.

Why it works

  • The hook holds one drifting, luminous space scene for 5.2 s while the narrator describes untouched resources; movement within the frame sustains interest without an early cut.
  • Gameplay compounds visibly: a sparse planet at 0:10–0:13 becomes a busy, machine-covered world by 0:20–0:27, supporting the narrated promise of growth.
  • A new exploration question at 0:34 opens the frame beyond the factory; the map, new worlds, and starfield carry that escalation into the 0:59 launch reveal.
