Field notes / why it works
A moving shape and green floor line appear by 0:00.5, but the first cut waits until 0:08.2, stretching the reveal. The edit then accelerates to five and six cuts in successive five-second bins from 0:15–0:25, using action and component details as proof. The top replay window at 0:26.8–0:27.3 coincides with the bright front-light close-up and the black capability card.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A near-black stage withholds the product, then coloured floor light and short glimpses build toward a rapid, tactile hardware montage. The promise is visual first: this machine can move and sense in a striking new way. A four-word capability card at 0:27 and a brand end card at about 0:31 resolve the tease; the announcement details live in the description rather than the film.
Why it works
- The first meaningful shape appears as a small green-lit silhouette around 0:00.5; the product is identifiable only gradually through the 8.15 s opening shot.
- The cut rate accelerates from 0 cuts in the first 5 s to 5 and 6 cuts in the 0:15–0:25 bins, matching the move from mystery to proof.
