NotebookLM Slide Decks Launch

A silent launch film that proves a slide generator in the UI, then turns its output into the announcement.

Field notes / why it works

The first 13.8 seconds demonstrate the creation flow before asking for belief, and the most-replayed moment at 6.7–7.1 seconds occurs while the prompt is entered. Four brisk problem cards at 18.9–24.8 seconds make the generated deck itself the visual proof; the name and four input routes arrive at 26.4–32.3 seconds before a large benefit payoff.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A silent, music-led product announcement first shows the tool making an output, then reframes the old workflow as tedious and reveals the new way. The sequence shifts from a credible, light interface to dramatic black-and-white example slides, then lands on a dark branded feature summary.

Why it works

  • The first 13.8 s show an actual creation flow, including format, length, and prompt choices, before making a large claim.
  • The 18.9–27.9 s slide montage turns the product output into the film's own evidence; five short shots move from a problem image to time cost and an aspirational question.
  • The 27.9–33.8 s reveal compresses the name, four input routes, and a bold promise into roughly six seconds of distinct visual units.
