Factory Drift Film

A technical lead turns a new supercar into a factory-ground stunt film, escalating from quiet preparation to drifting and a spare end tag.

Field notes / why it works

A 3.4-second establishing hold and preparation through 0:29 make the centered product reveal feel earned. The edit accelerates to 12 cuts in 0:40–0:50 as the first outdoor stunt begins, then alternates wide action with close mechanical proof. Replay peaks near 0:45, 1:03, and 1:37 align with first action, wheel detail, and the operator's closing look.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A branded short film turns a technical product into a physical spectacle. The film establishes the maker's world, introduces a controlled operator and a vivid product, then spends most of its running time on increasingly dynamic proof before a three-part closing line. The practical promise becomes clear when the yellow car faces camera at 0:29 and starts the action at about 0:42; the opening 0:00–0:03 is a slower brand reveal.

Why it works

  • The quiet logo hold at 0:00–0:03.4 and preparation through 0:29 make the first action feel earned. The first 3 seconds have no cuts; the first 10 seconds have 5.
  • At 0:40–0:50, the edit jumps to 12 cuts in ten seconds as the moving product enters the demonstration. The overall film has 66 shots, a 1.26-second median shot, and 36.5 cuts/min.
  • Replays peak around 0:45 (first outdoor performance), 1:03 (close wheel/slide detail), and 1:37–1:38 (operator's closing look). These are visual proof and character payoff, not information cards.
