Field notes / why it works

The first 2.1 seconds make an exaggerated beach-body promise feel intrusive while the narrator names a real frustration; the physical journal appears by 0:04.6. Page turns, a filled grid, and three distinct sections from 0:14.9 to 0:39 make the method visible. The writing close-up at 1:00.1 aligns with the strongest measured replay peak, after a three-product credibility shot.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 77-second landscape launch film opens with a knowingly unrealistic health promise, replaces it with a calm physical product, demonstrates how it works through page turns, and ends with a low-pressure invitation. Its engine is a steady alternation between vivid 2D animation and tactile overhead product footage.

Why it works

  • The first 2.1 seconds show a loud beach challenge while the narration names a familiar difficulty. That contrast creates a problem before the journal appears at 0:04.6.
  • Product proof occupies much of 0:08–0:44: cover, page flips, filled planning grid, and illustrated sections. The viewer sees use, not only a beauty shot.
  • The lineup at 0:54–1:00 provides series context, and the 1:00.1 close-up of someone writing is the strongest replay peak (0.69 on the measured curve).
