A Task Handed Off to Cowork
A quiet product launch turns one file-based request into a visible plan and finished artifacts.
Field notes / why it works
A benefit headline at 0:07 becomes credible when the user attaches a real source folder at 0:14; that handoff is the strongest replay peak. Eighteen internal UI changes keep a 43-second continuous shot moving without frantic cuts. A late extra request at 0:38 expands the stakes before three artifacts and a finished deck appear around 0:50–0:55.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A calm, mostly text-led product launch follows one everyday task from a blank prompt through file access, an added request, visible progress, and a polished output. The viewer learns the product by watching a cursor make ordinary choices rather than by hearing a feature list. The promise lands at 0:07 with a large task-oriented headline and becomes concrete when a folder is selected at 0:14–0:16.
Why it works
- The 0:07 headline states a broad benefit; the 0:11–0:18 prompt and source folder turn it into a recognizable workflow.
- The most-replayed interval, 0:13.8–0:14.5, is the moment just before selecting local source files. That is the credibility hinge for the handoff (inferred).
- A late additional request at 0:38–0:42 raises the task's scope, then the artifacts list at 0:50–0:52 and deck preview at 0:54 prove completion.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 68.6 s · measured source 640×360 at 24 fps |
| Pace | 6 measured shots, 5 cuts, 4.4–7.0 cuts/min allowing uncertain changes; 18 internal step changes; 20.1 total picture changes/min; mean shot 11.44 s |
| Script | 11 words detected in audio; 14 wpm over the full film and 212 wpm within detected speech. Low confidence makes the exact words unreliable. Most communication is interface text. |
| Voice | Sparse, brief conversational speech detected; no sustained narrator |
| On screen | Nearly all designed product UI and kinetic type; one browser/calendar view; no visible person |
| Captions | None; the film uses native UI labels, prompts, progress rows, and headline text |
| Sound | Quiet tonal music-like bed; no clear cut SFX; measured −32.3 LUFS integrated, −14.6 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | Availability card → task promise → prompt/source selection → processing and scope increase → artifact payoff → spare brand end |
