Field notes / why it works

From 0:15 to 1:58, 29 gameplay shots prove the world, character interactions, exploration, UI, and crafting without a narrator. The strongest replay peak, 1:33.7–1:35.0, coincides with a dialogue-to-crafting reward sequence. A 13.38-second illustrated end card gives the release date and wishlist action room to register.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 16:9, music-led game launch trailer lets viewers discover a richly illustrated world through real gameplay. It moves from exploration to characters, crafting, more mysterious locations, and a brief climax, then reveals the title, release date, and wishlist instruction in one long final card.

Why it works

  • The majority of the runtime is product proof: 29 gameplay shots from 0:15.2 to 1:58.3, including traversal, dialogue, inventory, and interiors.
  • Location and mechanic changes refresh attention without narration; the cut rate is 14.6–18.2 per minute, while 18 within-shot changes bring picture changes to 22.8/minute.
  • The most-replayed peak is 1:33.7–1:35.0, when a character dialogue beat gives way to crafting and a reward. The date and wishlist payoff waits until about 2:03.
