A Brand Identity in Motion
A 36-second kinetic brand film that alternates saturated visual overload with stark type cards, then proves the identity across real-world surfaces.
Field notes / why it works
The first seven seconds sustain attention with a moving glossy object, nested colour frames, and huge cropped type despite no measured cut. A dense graphic sequence snaps to a plain white statement at 0:16.3, the strongest replay point; six quick cuts around 0:27–0:29.3 then show the identity on signs, a billboard, a stylized room, and devices.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A 36-second, music-led identity film turns a few declarative words into moving sculpture. It opens inside a dark, nested graphic world, breaks into a brief white text reset, reveals a vivid brand universe, then shows that identity living on real and imagined surfaces. The promise is visual: this brand can make ideas feel in motion.
Why it works
- The first second moves from black to a floating figure, marbled frames, and oversized angled type; the camera keeps advancing inside the same designed space until 0:07.
- At 0:16.3–0:17.6, a chaotic colour tunnel snaps to a plain white card with a short statement. This is the strongest replay point (0:16.3–0:16.6).
- From 0:27.0–0:29.3, six cuts in roughly 2.3 seconds turn an abstract identity into signs, a billboard, a rendered environment, and device screens.

| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 640×360 source · 24 fps · 36.0 s |
| Pace | 18 measured shots, 17 cuts; 28.3 cuts/min, up to 41.7 if eight uncertain visual changes are cuts; mean shot 2.0 s, median 1.19 s. Motion and internal zooms make the opening feel quicker than its 7 s measured first shot. |
| Script | Sparse on-screen declarations, usually 1–4 words per card. The automatic 18-word transcript is unreliable and unrelated to the pictured copy; do not use its 36 wpm as narration. |
| Voice | No identifiable narrator in the supplied evidence; design this format as music-led and wordless. |
| On screen | About 75% designed type/graphics and 3D-looking composites, 15% brand applied to street or device imagery, 10% dark logo/hold; estimates from sheets. |
| Captions | No spoken-word subtitles. Oversized headline type is the content; brief black-on-white phrase cards provide legible rests. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal/music-like bed measured around 101 BPM (rough estimate), source −10.0 LUFS integrated and +0.3 dBFS true peak; cut-synchronised effects are unconfirmed. |
| Structure | 6 beats: abstract hook → verbal reset → maximalist promise → stark turn → logo/tagline → rapid applications and dark outro. |
