Lyria 3's music card carousel
A music-generation launch turns prompts and uploads into a moving gallery of audible tracks, then expands to remix templates.
Field notes / why it works
Two spare title cards state the feature and its benefit by 0:02.25, then the prompt-to-cover carousel pairs each visual result with an audible example. The 0:37.8 template re-hook broadens the use case, and replay peaks at 0:34.3–0:35.0 and 0:49.5–0:50.2 fall on vivid output cards and the dense template grid.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A clean white announcement becomes a carousel of audible examples: the viewer sees a tiny prompt or uploaded image turn into a series of vivid, playable cards. A mid-video shift opens a second use case, remix templates, before a plain end card names where to try the feature.
Why it works
- The product and promise are legible by 0:02.25: a black feature name and blue supporting phrase on white, with no competing imagery.
- From 0:07 to 0:36, each new square cover changes the imagined occasion or genre while the soundtrack demonstrates the result; the 0:34.3–0:35.0 replay peak coincides with a bright green music card.
- At 0:37.8 a new instruction re-hooks the viewer, and the dense template grid at 0:42.7–1:01.1 shows breadth before the 1:01.4 call to action.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 65.0 s · measured file 640×360 at 24 fps |
| Pace | 5 detected macro shots, 4 definite cuts; 3.7–14.8 cuts/min allowing 12 uncertain changes; mean macro shot 13.0 s. Six measured internal steps, plus continuous card and grid motion. |
| Script | No narration. The automated transcript detects 79 words of sung or sampled vocals, 91 words/min across the whole film; these are musical examples, not a spoken explainer. |
| Voice | Several characterful sung track snippets; no presenter or identifiable speaker archetype to reproduce. |
| On screen | Designed product UI, animated square music covers, and typography; no talking head. |
| Captions | No karaoke subtitles. Sparse centered feature cards, then small labels embedded in product cards. |
| Sound | Music-forward sequence of contrasting short tracks; −13.7 LUFS integrated, −0.4 dBFS measured true peak. No clear cut-synced effects. |
| Structure | Feature title → prompt and example tracks → second mode/templates → grid of samples → end card and URL. |
