A street scene unfolds into a phone screen

A pastel live action phone launch film turns a storefront into screen content, then demonstrates three viewing shapes through one food motif.

Field notes / why it works

The first 2.3 seconds turn a colourful real storefront into content inside the device, making the product reveal immediately legible. The same food subject then moves through narrow feed, wide screen, and reading or portrait views from about 4.6 to 25.5 seconds, so each change demonstrates a use rather than resetting the story. Sparse labels and the rear product lockup near 27.4 seconds keep attention on the shape change.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A polished live action product launch film turns an attractive street moment into content on a handheld device, then demonstrates how that content changes when the device opens and rotates. The promise is visual: {{PRODUCT}} lets {{AUDIENCE}} enjoy {{CONTENT_EXAMPLE}} in the shape that suits it.

Why it works

  • The hook starts with a complete, colourful street scene; a hand raises the phone at about 1.5 s, and the scene appears inside it by 2.3 s. The physical match reveals the product without an explanation.
  • The demonstrations vary the form while keeping the food image continuous: narrow feed around 4.6 s, broad landscape around 8.6 s, reading layout around 16.4 s, and upright portrait around 24.5 s.
  • Text stays sparse. The benefit is carried by visible changes in the device and content, with the closing product and name at about 27.4 s.
