The trackers on your back

A cinematic privacy ad makes invisible web trackers physical, then removes them with one browser tap.

Field notes / why it works

At 0:00 a human-shaped tracker rides a phone user's shoulders, turning an abstract privacy threat into an immediate visual puzzle. Thirty-eight shots carry that same intrusion through multiple everyday locations, then a legible Safari tap at 0:49 leads to a disintegration payoff at 0:51–0:53; the first burst coincides with the highest replay peak. Sparse copy lets the images tell the story before the brand claim lands near the end.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A tiny exchange in a library turns an invisible online problem into a person physically hanging on a browser. A dialogue-light, escalating montage shows the same intrusion following different people until one product action causes the nuisance to disappear. The benefit becomes a visible payoff before the brand line.

Why it works

  • At 0:00, a silver suited person clings to a seated phone user; the odd image creates a visual pattern interrupt before any explanation.
  • From 0:13 to 0:43, the metaphor repeats across a park, museum, restaurant, gym, salon, waiting room, and library, so the abstract problem feels pervasive without a lecture.
  • The Safari icon close-up at 0:49 converts a familiar tap into a cause-and-effect climax. The highest replay peak is 0:51.5–0:52.1, amid the silver figure's burst.

ScriptAutomated transcript: 36 words, 39 wpm overall, four detected sentences. Later words are low confidence and should not be treated as a reliable script.
VoiceBrief, natural character dialogue in the opening; little reliable speech through the montage. No sustained narrator.
On screenAlmost entirely staged live action: medium/wide social scenes and close product inserts. The last seconds use effects and brand graphics.
CaptionsNo continuous captions. Sparse white, centered benefit copy near 0:45 and 0:53, then brand line and logo.
SoundMusic-like bed, roughly 144 BPM estimate with low confidence; integrated −16.3 LUFS, true peak −1.1 dBFS. No clear regular cut SFX.
StructureOddity → naming the nuisance → escalating pursuit montage → product tap → disintegration → benefit line → brand end. Payoff 0:49–0:53; brand 0:56–1:00.
