Holiday Arrival, Comfortable Exit
A 15-second holiday unease story pivots to shoe comfort, then a warm product lineup and direct CTA.
Field notes / why it works
A calm illustrated title turns into an overhead wake-up at 0:01, opening a visual question before speech. Eight quick cuts from 0:05–0:10 make a harmless holiday prop feel imposing, while the voice arrives only at 0:08.9 as the shoes become the relief. The slower product action and 1.7-second lineup card make both the benefit and purchase destination easy to grasp.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A miniature holiday unease story turns a harmless decoration into a looming arrival. It promises a little relief only after the visual gag has played, then connects that relief to shoes and a direct purchase card.
Why it works
- At 0:00–0:02, a calm illustrated title is punctured by a circular reveal of a person waking up; the shift creates a question before any narration.
- From 0:04.4–0:08.8, eight short shots alternate a Santa lawn ornament, holiday clothing, and a worried face. The benign prop becomes oddly imposing through framing and repetition (inferred).
- The spoken benefit waits until 0:08.9, after the visual tension, and the product lands at 0:09.6–0:15.0 with a shoe action, composed hero image, then five-shoe end card.
