A Squad Reveal Told Through Its Fans
A football roster announcement becomes a fast tour of everyday supporters, clues and a communal finale.
Field notes / why it works
The announcement is clear by 0:08, while four cuts in the first three seconds give it immediate pace. Everyday clues and reactions create fresh micro-stories, with the 0:11.6–0:13.2 barber scene the strongest replay peak. The film saves its fastest run for the communal finish: 24 cuts from 2:20 to 2:30.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A brand announcement becomes a tour through the people who care about it. A brief narrated promise arrives by 0:08; then fast, characterful glimpses of daily life make the roster or reveal feel like a shared event. The last third shifts from individual clues toward communal celebration and a compressed closing montage.
Why it works
- The opening says what is coming in the first eight seconds while four cuts occur in the first three; the audience gets both clarity and momentum.
- The news is discovered in ordinary settings: a barber shop at 0:12, a shop at 0:18, a family home at 0:46, a supporter reading at about 1:00. Each new place renews attention without another narrator explanation.
- The edit saves its densest burst for 2:20–2:34: 24 cuts in the 2:20–2:30 ten-second block, turning many separate reactions into one collective payoff.

| On screen | Predominantly live-action vignettes and people; brief flags, shirts, print, badges and title imagery; no single presenter dominates |
| Captions | Small white sentence subtitles at the lower centre for selected dialogue; no large kinetic caption system |
| Sound | Continuous tonal music-like bed, roughly 101 BPM (estimate); ambient dialogue and cheers; no clear systematic cut SFX; measured −13 LUFS, −0.1 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | 0:00–0:08 promise; 0:08–0:35 clues and first character scene; 0:35–1:35 everyday-world tour; 1:35–2:20 convergence; 2:20–2:34 rapid celebration; 2:34–2:45 emblem/end hold |
