Will the R2 fit your garage?

A 50-second garage-fit explainer turns exact vehicle dimensions into human and cargo proof, then a road payoff.

Field notes / why it works

The opening places the vehicle in a real garage and presents the size question by 0:02.25. Matched side views and a 185.9-inch dimension rule land at the most-replayed moment around 0:15; after measured holds of 8–12 seconds, sub-second cargo cuts at 0:40–0:43 translate size into use.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A compact product explainer begins with a real buyer question over a wide view of the product in its intended setting. It answers with exact dimensions against a familiar reference, then changes scale from exterior measurements to people and cargo, ending with the product in use.

Why it works

  • The question is visible by 2.25 seconds, while the vehicle is already parked at the garage; the viewer can evaluate the answer against a real constraint.
  • The most-replayed interval, 0:14.8–0:15.3, shows a side view with the 185.9-inch length rule. The replay signal supports making the number and object visible together.
  • The edit saves speed for the benefit proof: one shot lasts 12.43 seconds during the length comparison, then shots 9–13 cut in 0.38–0.71-second bursts as gear goes in at 0:40.5–0:43.0.

Pace16 shots; 15 confirmed cuts, or 18.0 cuts/min; up to 20.4 if two uncertain changes are cuts. 12 internal visual steps; about 32.4 picture changes/min; mean shot 3.13 s, median 1.44 s.
Script92 transcribed words; 121 wpm across the film and 182 wpm while speaking; eight short sentences; one opening question; many numbers.
VoiceLow-register, animated, assured adult presenter; measured median pitch 116 Hz, 5.1-semitone movement; seven of eight sentence endings fall.
On screenApprox. 70% locked or near-locked vehicle/garage measurement views, 10% presenter and people, 15% cargo and driving inserts, 5% aerial landscape, based on sheet frames and shot spans (inferred).
CaptionsNo running subtitles. A large two-line opening question, then small white measurement labels and fine rules locked to the objects.
SoundContinuous tonal bed; measured −14.4 LUFS integrated, −1.6 dBFS true peak. Cut accents are not clear from measurements.
StructureQuestion → clearance/height → length comparison → width/top view → human and cargo proof → driving close. Main numerical payoff at ~0:14; no spoken CTA.
