A shoe sole material explained from source to factory
A 78-second live-action material explainer that turns an environmental claim into tactile product, crop, and factory proof.
Field notes / why it works
A process question begins at 0:00.84 over sketches, and the actual shoe appears by 0:02.5. Oil, a large cost number, and smokestacks establish the problem by 0:20; fast foam macros reveal the new material at 0:22–0:26. Sugarcane, a physical sole cross-section, and the partner plant make the claim tangible, with the 0:47.6–0:48.4 factory view the most replayed passage.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A friendly presenter asks how an everyday object is made, shows the environmental cost of its conventional ingredient, then reveals a replacement material. A fast chain of macro textures, source footage, industrial proof, and a physical product demo makes the abstract material change visible.
Why it works
- The opening question starts at 0:00.84 over shoe sketches; the first cut is at 0:00.55, before the presenter appears at 0:02.5.
- Oil, dirt, and smokestacks at 0:09–0:20 give the problem a visual form; foam macro imagery and the material name at 0:22–0:26 deliver a clear turn.
- The proof expands from sugarcane at 0:34–0:40 to a partner factory at 0:47–0:54. The 0:47.6–0:48.4 factory passage is the top replay peak.

| On screen | Roughly 20% presenter, 65% footage/product/macros, 15% diagrams/graphics (inferred from sheets and timings); white studio alternates with high-texture source footage |
| Captions | No running subtitles. Only integrated labels, an oversized number, and a small branded material title. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal music-like bed under most speech; little evidence of cut-synced effects; −17.3 LUFS, −1.9 dBFS true peak |
