A typed goodbye reveals a foldable phone
A sparse assistant chat builds a double-meaning farewell before a late, glossy foldable-phone reveal and event date.
Field notes / why it works
A tiny assistant greeting at 0:00.25 opens a question that the typed message develops in seven measured graphic steps, without needing narration. The phone arrives only around 0:19.6; its turn and product identity at 0:23–0:25 coincide with the strongest replay peak at 0:24.0–0:24.3. A simple date card at 0:26 turns the reveal into an announcement.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A nearly black screen opens on a familiar assistant interface. Someone types an oddly personal request that gradually doubles as a farewell to an old way of doing things. After roughly 19 seconds of restraint, a glossy product render and huge two-part line reveal what the message was really setting up; the date closes the teaser.
Why it works
- The first second begins with a small, legible exchange on black, then holds the viewer through incremental typing rather than cuts (0:00–0:19).
- The message carries a double meaning: its relationship language foreshadows a change of device (0:03.8–0:15, inferred from the text and reveal).
- The product appears around 0:19.6 and rotates into its rear view at 0:23–0:24. The strongest replay peak is 0:24.0–0:24.3, exactly as the identity becomes clear.

| Pace | Detector: 1 continuous shot, 0 confirmed cuts, 2 uncertain changes at 0:23.2 and 0:23.6; 7 clear internal graphic steps, about 14 picture changes/min. The object turns smoothly through the reveal. |
| Script | No spoken words. A short typed exchange, a multi-line message, one large reveal line, then the product name and date. |
| Voice | None; the assistant and user are represented by on-screen text. |
| On screen | About 0:00–0:19 text/UI on black; 0:19–0:26 product render and type; 0:26–0:30 date card (end treatment inferred from sampled frames). |
