The Polite Robot and the Unfinished Table
A cinematic dinner-room mishap turns one simple command into a silent visual case for Framer Skills.
Field notes / why it works
Two cuts in the first 3 seconds turn departing guests and a messy table into a specific question: can the helper actually finish the job? Only 13 words are spoken by 0:04.5, leaving the 11.73-second final shot to show the failed outcome, then reveal the product claim around 0:10–0:11 and logo around 0:13.4. The long hold and sparse white type make the visual metaphor readable without a feature list.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished, slightly absurd live-action scene shows a person delegating a simple job to an automated helper. The helper's literal response leads to a messy result; only then does minimal white type state the problem and name the product solution. The promise is implicit in the scene by 0:05 and explicit in text around 0:10–0:11.
Why it works
- The first second shows people leaving a formal dinner, then a hard cut reveals a lone robot facing the uncleared table at 0:01.0: a visual question before any sales language.
- About 13 spoken words finish by 0:04.5; the remaining 12 seconds give the aftermath, claim, product, and logo room to land.
- The final shot lasts 11.73 s but changes internally at about 0:09.8 and 0:13.4, making a slow, cinematic reveal possible without a cut barrage.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 640×360 source capture · 16.9 s · 24 fps |
| Pace | 4 shots, 3 cuts, 10.7 cuts/min; 3 internal text/graphic changes; 21.3 picture changes/min; mean shot 4.22 s, median 2.08 s |
| Script | 13 audible words; 165 wpm across the clip, approximately 269 wpm during the brief dialogue; four short utterances |
| Voice | Brief, natural adult dinner-party exchange and a courteous synthesized/helper-like reply (inferred from scene); no narration after ~0:04.5 |
| On screen | Cinematic staged scene throughout; wide dining-room compositions, doorway view, centered robot, then empty-room aftermath |
| Captions | No running subtitles; two short white centered claim cards and a white symbol/logo |
| Sound | Quiet tonal bed continues under the speech and after it; roughly 101 BPM estimate, low confidence; −17.6 LUFS integrated, −1.3 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | Departure → request → inadequate outcome → problem statement → solution line/logo; no spoken CTA |
