E-Shift Taycan feature film

A cinematic feature launch that turns an electric driving control into a tactile, location-spanning action sequence with sparse type.

Field notes / why it works

The opening names the feature by about 0:02 after a moving landscape and brand reveal, while delaying the benefit card until 0:51. Driver, paddle, gauge and exterior shots connect input to sensation; the measured 31 cuts in 75.7 seconds and several subsecond inserts from 0:29 to 0:49 keep the proof sequence urgent. A slower logo close at roughly 1:10 lets the action resolve.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 76-second widescreen launch film makes an interactive feature feel physical through a driver, a visible control, dashboard feedback and movement across contrasting locations. It opens as a mystery, withholds the explicit three-part benefit statement until roughly 0:51, then uses a short action montage and a brand close.

Why it works

  • The first 3 seconds move from empty landscape to brand to feature title, creating a clear subject before any explanation.
  • The product claim gets visual proof: the dashboard at 0:07–0:09, fingers on the control at 0:29 and 0:40, and driving footage from 0:23 through 1:04.
  • Pace tightens around the 0:29–0:49 demonstration: several shots last under a second, against a measured overall median of 1.28 seconds.

CaptionsNo dialogue subtitles; restrained all-caps title cards and small uppercase benefit lines.
SoundContinuous tonal bed detected; estimated 121 BPM, uncertain. Measured −14.2 LUFS integrated, −2.2 dBFS true peak. No clear cut-linked effects in the analysis.
