A wearable air purifier, explained through its engineering
An expert-led product launch that moves from everyday exposure to internal mechanisms, lab proof and a quiet hero reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The first second swaps an expert for a cyan airflow visualization, making an invisible problem visible before the outside-world montage at 0:03–0:14. The film links each mechanism claim at 0:26–0:48 to parts, CAD or tests, then speeds through development proof at 1:03–1:15 before a still product hero. The strongest replay peak at 1:14.8–1:15.7 coincides with that reveal.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A documentary style product announcement starts with a familiar environmental problem, then asks how to protect someone outside a controlled space. Engineers explain a physical mechanism while close-ups, CAD images, prototypes, and test rigs demonstrate that the object exists. The product is held back as a complete, centered hero image until 1:15.4, after most of the explanation.
Why it works
- The promise is human before technical: a presenter at 0:00 gives a protected-space contrast; a visual airflow diagram appears by 0:01, and city/pollutant imagery follows at 0:03.5–0:13.
- Each technical noun gets evidence: compressors at 0:26–0:30, filtration at 0:30–0:36, airflow and visor at 0:36–0:48. The shot mean is only 1.28 seconds across 67 shots.
- Development proof accelerates at 1:03–1:14, then resolves into a clean hero product shot at 1:15.4. The strongest replay peak is 1:14.8–1:15.7, directly across that handoff.
