Flow 2 Pro benefit-to-proof launch film
A three-minute gimbal launch film that turns a long feature list into quick human use cases and visible results.
Field notes / why it works
The spoken transformation promise begins at 0:00, the first cut arrives at 0:00.16, and eight cuts fill the first ten seconds. Across 105 shots, feature claims repeatedly become visible controls and human results; the selfie-mirror demonstration at 2:34–2:36 is the strongest replay peak.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished, widescreen consumer product launch film promises that a small device can make everyday filming feel professional. A quick physical reveal leads into a long chain of human use cases: name a benefit, show the feature operating, then show its finished result. The video ends by restating the transformation and returning to the product name.
Why it works
- The promise is audible at 0:00 and the picture changes by 0:00.16; the first three seconds show phone UI, moving hardware and a creator in action.
- Each capability is given visual proof: app tracking at 0:46–1:13, remote operation at 1:27–1:39, and the mirror at 2:32–2:36. The mirror is the strongest replay peak.
- In 190.9 seconds there are 105 shots, median 1.44 seconds, but demonstrations can breathe for 3–6 seconds. That alternation keeps a feature list from reading like a slide deck.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 3:10.9 · measured source 640×360 at 25 fps |
| Pace | 105 shots; 104 definite cuts; 32.7–43.4 cuts/min including uncertain changes; 33.6 definite picture changes/min; mean shot 1.82 s, median 1.44 s |
| Script | 336 measured words, 115 wpm across the full film / 156 wpm while talking; 32 short sentences averaging 10.5 words; no questions |
| Voice | Single polished, animated, medium-register promotional narrator; delivery archetype only |
| On screen | Predominantly live-action lifestyle use cases and product close-ups, with phone UI, feature labels and a few comparison/composite graphics; no talking head |
| Captions | No continuous subtitles; small white feature labels at lower left, usually one feature name and sometimes a smaller support line |
| Sound | Continuous music-like bed measured about 7.4 dB under speech; rough 80 BPM; no clearly measured cut SFX; −25.5 LUFS integrated, −10.0 dBFS true peak in the measured file |
