Pixel 10a Wordmark-to-Hardware Teaser
A 15-second silent phone teaser that morphs a wordmark into a camera close-up, then lands on a date and full-product hero.
Field notes / why it works
The opening wordmark grows and changes colour before resolving into a camera macro at 0:02.1; the 0:00.8–0:01.0 passage is the strongest replay peak. Eleven cuts in 15 seconds keep the product angles moving, while the exact date at 0:07.6 and a 2.42-second final full-product hero make the tease easy to understand and remember.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, music-led launch teaser turns a large product wordmark into the shape of a hardware detail, then uses macro renders and rapid product variations to build anticipation. It withholds features and resolves on one exact availability date and a clean full-product hero.
Why it works
- The first 2.1 s create a visual question: an off-white wordmark on cobalt becomes a blue wordmark on pale mint, and a rounded letter shape echoes the camera module. The 0:00.8–0:01.0 opening is the strongest replay peak (0.91).
- After the 0:02.1 camera reveal, close-ups and repeated phones show enough industrial design to reward attention while holding back the full view until 0:12.6.
- A precise date appears on a quiet pale card at 0:07.6, then enlarges on coral at 0:08.9; the end hero holds 2.42 s so the product and pre-order cue can be read.
