G1 Humanoid Capability Reveal
A music-led humanoid launch film that escalates from an instant price claim to full-body, hand-control, and impact tests.
Field notes / why it works
The first 0.5 seconds combine a dynamic product pose with a concrete $16,000 entry price, then immediately cut to visible proof. Long full-body takes establish credible motion, while a shift to close hand work after 1:08 culminates in the most-replayed impact test at 1:28.4–1:29.4.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A widescreen launch film puts the product and a concrete entry price on screen immediately, then lets visible demonstrations carry the argument. It starts with surprising body movement, moves to controlled everyday actions, and closes with tactile proof and a restrained brand card. The few short headings label capabilities; there is no dependable spoken explanation.
Why it works
- The 0:00 cover gives a silhouette, product name, and $16,000 starting price; the first cut at 0:00.52 replaces the claim with a floor demonstration.
- The proof escalates from floor recovery (0:00.5–0:24) and balance against a person (0:30–0:40) to small-object handling (1:08–1:34).
- The main replay peak, 1:28.4–1:29.4, lands on a close-up of the hands taking repeated hammer impacts. The other peaks are around the human lift (0:53) and handling (1:16).
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 640×360 source measurement, 16:9 · 103.9 s at 25 fps |
| Pace | 20 detected shots; 19 cuts, 11.0–14.4 cuts/min allowing uncertain changes; 16.7 total picture changes/min; mean shot 5.19 s, median 3.78 s |
| Script | Sparse on-screen capability headings and labels. The 53-word machine transcript conflicts with the visual sequence and is low confidence; no verified speech or usable WPM. |
| Voice | None confirmed; demonstrations and short headings tell the story. |
| On screen | Mostly locked-off, wide live product demonstrations; brief mid/close handling shots; one mass 3D simulation; two brand cards. |
| Captions | No dialogue subtitles. Small, white, upper-left capability headings, plus a large opening title and price. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, rhythmic music-like bed; roughly 129 BPM (low-confidence measurement). No clear effects synchronized with cuts. Measured −11.2 LUFS integrated and +1.3 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Seven functional beats: promise, range of motion, balance, comfort/lift, learned motion, hands, impact/end card. No spoken CTA or loop. |
