Field notes / why it works

The near-black first 3 seconds make viewers search for the object while a 12-word voice line opens a small curiosity gap. Two edge-lit profiles resolve before the brand and product name appear near 7.2 seconds, the video's strongest replay peak. The uncut frame and sparse date card around 9.8 seconds keep the reveal clear and premium.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A near-black, single-scene product teaser withholds the full object, lets a low voice set up a short number or wordplay line, then reveals the product name beside two lit silhouettes. It replaces a feature demo with atmosphere and a date.

Why it works

  • The first 2.75 s show almost nothing beyond glints, opening a visual question while the voice begins at 1.12 s.
  • The silhouettes become legible by about 6.2 s, and the title arrives around the 7.2 s replay peak. Viewers get a coordinated visual and verbal payoff.
  • One scene, zero cuts, and a final date card at about 9.8 s make the teaser easy to follow while retaining the dramatic music bed.
