Field notes / why it works
A near-black opening names the precise challenge by 0:01.25 and holds its first image until 0:06.9, making the premise easy to grasp. Family and community scenes from 0:27 to 1:29 give the effort human stakes before the subject's late declaration around 1:50. The large red mark held from 2:13 to the end coincides with the strongest replay peak at 2:13–2:14.4.
