The Price of a Forgotten Teddy

A cinematic family mishap ad uses a lost teddy and two price cards to make a cheaper ride feel emotionally useful.

Field notes / why it works

The first 2.24 seconds establish a transport choice, and the family's large teddy is visible before the trip turns stressful. At 0:20–0:27, the teddy alone behind the train window makes the mistake legible without explanation; a €30 regret price follows. The edit then slows for reactions before holding the €7 ride price for roughly seven seconds and closing on the brand at 0:43.9.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A family leaves a bright arcade and takes a train. One child's teddy is left on board; the parents are stranded on the platform with the regret. Two quiet, white price lines turn the story into a comparison: the costly consequence first, then a €7 Uber ride, followed by a simple logo end card. The product appears as the way to repair the moment, rather than as a feature tour.

Why it works

  • The opening 2.24-second wide shot establishes a possible car outside the arcade, then the next ten seconds follow the family instead. The viewer has enough information to anticipate a better choice without a spoken pitch.
  • At 0:20.2–0:27.6, a lone teddy behind the departing train window makes the mistake instantly legible. A €30 regret price supplies the first number.
  • At 0:36.8, the family reappears together as the €7 ride price lands. The second number resolves the emotional and financial problem before the 0:43.9 logo.
