Framer's Growth Team Micro-Story
A silent 26-second product film moves from an audience selector through team chat and bulk-edit UI to a spare benefit and logo close.
Field notes / why it works
The cycling audience label makes the product's target clear by about 1.25 seconds, then the tiny chat at 2.25 seconds turns the use case into a human moment. A bulk-edit status at 12.3 seconds and page list at 14.7 seconds supply product proof before the minimal benefit card at 18.5 seconds and logo at 22.3 seconds.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A 26-second, silent-voice product film opens on a rapidly changing “for whom” label, settles on one audience, then dramatizes a tiny workplace exchange and shows the product acting on it. The payoff is a two-word benefit card followed by a brand mark. The viewer learns the product's promise from text and interface motion, with no spoken explanation.
Why it works
- The first frame states product plus audience, and the cycling label settles by about 1.25 s; the subject is clear before the viewer has to interpret the demo.
- The miniature chat at about 2.25–6.1 s turns a growth goal into a human exchange; the next UI beat supplies visual proof by showing a bulk edit state at 12.3 s and a page list at 14.7 s.
- The film compresses the conclusion to a centered benefit line at 18.5 s and a logo at 22.3 s, giving each enough quiet screen time to register.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 26.0 s · measured file 640×360 at 29.97 fps |
| Pace | 2 detected shots, 1 cut at 10.94 s, 2.3 cuts/min, 13.01 s mean shot; 2 detected internal step changes, 6.9 counted picture changes/min. Continuous animation creates additional visible states. |
| Script | No spoken words; all meaning comes from short interface messages and title cards. |
| Voice | None; no on-camera person. Small avatar portraits function as generic workplace characters. |
| On screen | About 0–2.2 s kinetic type, 2.2–10.9 s composited chat, 10.9–15.5 s product UI, 15.5–22 s benefit card, 22–26 s logo hold (boundaries after 15 s are approximate from sampled frames). |
| Captions | No subtitles; white UI copy and centered white benefit text on near-black. |
| Sound | Instrumental/music-like bed, roughly 110 BPM with moderate confidence; no speech. Measured −8.7 LUFS integrated and +1.0 dBFS true peak. Individual effects are not confirmed. |
| Structure | 5 visual beats; product proof at about 11–15 s; benefit payoff at 18.5 s; logo end card at 22.3 s. No in-video verbal CTA. |
