Voice-led workday launch film
A conversational workplace launch film that proves a voice assistant through three connected tasks and projected product UI.
Field notes / why it works
A spoken command begins at 0:00, and the room display answers by 0:03–0:05, so the product benefit is demonstrated before it is explained. New tasks at about 0:27 and 0:39 widen the use case from drafting to feature iteration and debugging; the cause is found around 0:50–0:54. Twenty-six shots in 68.7 seconds keep the human reactions, physical workspace and product UI in one coherent scene.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A two-person workplace vignette sells a voice-controlled desktop product by letting a normal work session turn into a miniature launch. One person gives quick spoken requests, a second person reacts and collaborates, and the product answers through projected UI, a laptop close-up and conversational replies. The film shows the product's range by moving from content drafting to creative iteration to a bug fix, then closes on a clean brand card.
Why it works
- The first spoken request starts at 0:00, before any explanation; the viewer infers that voice can control the workspace from the action.
- Three linked jobs arrive at 0:05–0:25, 0:27–0:39 and 0:39–0:55, so each new request expands the use case without resetting the scene.
- The room and people recur across 26 shots (21.8–22.7 cuts/min); visible projection, laptop and prop reactions make an otherwise abstract software capability feel physical.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 68.7 s; source measured at 640×360, 23.98 fps |
| Pace | 26 shots; 25 definite cuts, one uncertain; 21.8–22.7 cuts/min; mean shot 2.64 s, median 2.4 s; 26.2 picture changes/min including five internal UI/text changes |
| Script | 235 transcribed words; 214 wpm across runtime, ~256 wpm while speaking; 24 short sentences, five questions, essentially continuous dialogue |
| Voice | Several adult coworkers and an assistant voice: casual, responsive, lightly playful; low median pitch measured across speakers, animated contours |
| On screen | Predominantly staged live action: wide room and two-shots, medium conversational singles, projected UI, one laptop close-up, final white brand card |
| Captions | No burned speech subtitles; small white speaker labels at lower right, plus a huge white three-word opening title spread across the wide room |
| Sound | Spoken dialogue over a continuous tonal bed (music-like, inferred); no consistent cut effects detected; −15.3 LUFS integrated, −1.3 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | Cold voice command → draft content → refine a feature → delegate/debug → launch-ready exchange → brand card; payoff around 0:50–0:55 |
