A Lost Teddy, Then the Price Reveal
A cinematic family mishap turns emotional regret into a concrete ride price comparison.
Field notes / why it works
The opening car pass (0:00–0:02.2) establishes the category while the child and teddy (0:07–0:12) establish an emotional stake. The bear isolated behind a train window at 0:20–0:22 explains the mishap without exposition, and the 110 zł regret card visible by 0:25.8 sets up the 23 zł ride card around 0:38.2. A 7.12-second resolution shot gives the lower price time to register.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished, dialogue-light narrative ad follows a family from a bright night out into a public-transport mishap: a child's teddy is left behind as a train departs. Two sparse white price cards turn the loss and the alternative ride into a concrete comparison. The service is present in the opening image, but the overt sales argument waits until about 0:25–0:26 and resolves at 0:38–0:44.
Why it works
- A moving branded car against a neon storefront gives immediate visual motion at 0:00–0:02.2, then the family and teddy at 0:02–0:09 supply a human stake before any price is shown.
- The prop is planted at 0:08 and 0:12, then isolated behind the closed train door at 0:20–0:22. The audience understands the loss without explanatory captions.
- The first number is visible by 0:25.8 (110 zł); the second arrives at about 0:38.2 (23 zł). That roughly twelve-second gap lets the emotional consequence land before the price comparison.

| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 47.9 s · source measured at 640×360, 25 fps |
| Pace | 19 shots, 18 cuts, 22.6 cuts/min; six internal image or text changes, about 30.1 picture changes/min; mean shot 2.52 s, median 2.04 s |
| Script | Speech detector reports 59 words and 78 wpm overall, but its French transcript conflicts with this Polish ad and is unreliable for wording and exact rate. The story is primarily carried by action and two price lines. |
| Voice | Natural character dialogue / vocal music (exact lines and speaker attribution uncertain); no presenter-to-camera delivery |
| On screen | About 90% staged live-action family, car and station story; about 10% text and logo over footage (inferred from shot durations) |
| Captions | No running speech captions visible; small white centered price statements on the train/window and walking shot |
| Sound | Continuous tonal music bed with vocal and environmental audio; measured −13.8 LUFS integrated, −2.7 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | Establish joy → plant prop → transit mishap → emotional cost → alternative price → logo; payoff from about 0:25.8 to 0:43.9; no spoken CTA visible |
