Field notes / why it works

A misty question holds for the first 3.7 seconds, then the product arrives around 0:14.8; that reveal overlaps the strongest replay peak at 0:14.2–0:14.9. The middle alternates road, people and close feature proof, with claims for cabin technology, cargo, charging and range spaced across 0:16–1:04. A single 9.69-second coastal shot gives the closing claim and brand mark room to land.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 71-second, widescreen electric-car launch film moves from an abstract landscape question to people, vehicle beauty shots, usable features, shared experience and a coastal brand close. There is no explanatory narrator in the visible format: cinematic imagery and a music track carry the feeling, while small white type supplies the concrete proof.

Why it works

  • The opening holds one cloudscape and one short question for 3.7 seconds. This creates a premium, unhurried promise before any product appears.
  • Feature proof is distributed through the middle: interface at 0:16, cabin screens at 0:23–0:28, sound at 0:28, cargo at 0:37, charging at 0:41–0:48, then range at 0:59–1:04.
  • The most-replayed peak, 0:14.2–0:14.9, coincides with a dark vehicle arrival and the move into a clean exterior reveal. Product visibility resolves the abstract opening.

Pace21 shots, 20 cuts, 16.9 cuts/min; 13 internal text/picture changes, 27.9 total picture changes/min; mean shot 3.38 s, median 2.92 s
ScriptA handful of short on-screen claims; no reliable spoken script. Automated speech recognition returned 15 low-confidence, poetic words against the music, so 54 wpm is not a usable narration rate.
VoiceNo clear spoken presenter or narrator; possible sung vocal in the score (inferred).
On screenRoughly 50% vehicle and road, 20% people/lifestyle, 20% feature detail/cabin, 10% landscape and brand end card (estimated from sheets).
CaptionsNo speech captions. Thin, small white feature lines placed in open negative space; occasional small legal lines.
SoundCommissioned, cinematic music named in the source description; measured roughly 99 BPM (medium confidence). −14.2 LUFS integrated, −0.9 dBFS true peak. No clear systematic cut effects.
StructureAbstract question → person and vehicle reveal → interface/audio → cargo/charging → shared drive/range → brand close; no spoken CTA.
