The AI clerk recommends the wrong brand
A staged two-person commercial makes answer-engine discoverability tangible through absurd recommendations, UI proof, and a branded payoff.
Field notes / why it works
A silent logo-to-character reveal establishes the personified AI clerk by 0:03.5. The wrong-answer list gains a visible card at 0:20.8, the missing brand triggers a clear explanation at 0:31.7, and the larger coupon card at 0:39.5 escalates the error before the 0:46.7 brand resolution.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A visitor asks an overly confident personified system for a recommendation. The system gives absurd alternatives while missing the visitor's preferred option; its explanation reveals a real discoverability problem. A brief ominous joke turns into a direct brand promise. This is a scripted, two-person brand film that teaches through the consequences of a bad answer.
Why it works
- The opening logo fills a blank white field for 0:00–0:03.5, then the camera reveals a person behind an “AI Answer Engine” desk by 0:01.5; the visual question precedes speech at 0:04.4.
- The requested brand is absent from the recommendation panel at 0:20.8; by 0:31.7 the dialogue names the causal problem. The on-screen list makes the claim visible before it is explained.
- A coupon panel at 0:39.5 escalates the wrong answer, the system's threat at 0:43.6 adds a comic sting, and the 0:46.7–0:51.6 end card converts the sketch into a clear product message.
