A one-shot overhead tour of a portable music workstation

A 147-second hardware walkthrough keeps one overhead composition while hands, screen states, and musical results show each mode.

Field notes / why it works

The complete device stays in a fixed overhead view for all 147 seconds, so each hand action is easy to locate. Forty internal picture changes come from real controls and screen states rather than cuts, and long narration gaps around 0:25, 0:42, and 1:08 let the output prove the feature. The top replay span at 0:08.9–0:10.4 lands on the first hands-on mode demonstration.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A calm, narrated tour demonstrates a compact creative tool from a locked overhead camera. The viewer sees each control pressed, the interface respond, and the resulting sound or output, all without leaving the work surface. The opening promises a complete overview by 0:04; the rest earns that promise through successive modes and practical workflows.

Why it works

  • The whole device is readable as a map in the first 3 seconds; the stable framing makes every later hand movement easy to locate.
  • Feature claims are paired with visible operations: mode selection around 0:08–0:15, encoder manipulation around 0:18–0:21 and 0:57–1:00, and tape and connection controls after 1:47.
  • The most replayed span, 0:08.9–0:10.4, sits at the first interface demonstration. The format gives viewers a reason to revisit a specific action.
