Flow's gallery-to-canvas launch film
A music-led product launch that demonstrates two creation paths before a rapid montage of 19 varied output scenes.
Field notes / why it works
A moving cloud of image cards holds the first 6.8 seconds without a cut, then the dark interface ties specific inputs to changed scenes from about 0:12 to 0:43. The 0:43–0:53 run of 19 short shots proves breadth through visibly different genres, and the closing tiled gallery resolves the opening motif. Replay peaks near 0:11.7 and 0:38.1 fall on workflow moments, where viewers may be inspecting the product.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A one-minute, music-led product launch film turns a cloud of possible stories into a visual creation workflow, then shows the range of resulting worlds. The promise becomes explicit in the UI stretch at roughly 0:12–0:30; the payoff is a rapid genre-spanning output montage at 0:43–0:53 and a product lockup at 0:58.
Why it works
- The first 6.8 seconds avoid cuts, but dozens of small image cards move through a black field; centered white text resolves to “Every story” by about 0:02. This supplies motion and a broad creative premise before showing any controls.
- The long middle uses concrete interface actions: a reference/ingredient tray around 0:13, adding characters around 0:16, adding a setting around 0:20–0:22, and a new scene by 0:27–0:30. The replay peaks at 0:11.4–0:12.0 and 0:37.8–0:38.4 coincide with the workflow, suggesting viewers inspect the product moments.
- Nineteen shots lasting 0.33–1.3 seconds from 0:43.3 to 0:52.8 turn the abstract claim of creative range into visible proof. The exact settings change rapidly; the underlying promise stays legible.

| Pace | 23 detected shots; 22.2–34.3 cuts/min allowing uncertain changes; 32.3 measured picture changes/min. Mean shot 2.59 s, median 0.54 s. |
| Script | Sparse on-screen phrases and UI labels. Automatic speech transcript is low confidence and conflicts with the visible sequence; no reliable spoken script or WPM. |
| Voice | No clearly established speaker. Use music-led visual storytelling. |
| On screen | Opening card field (~7 s), product UI and generated scenes (~36 s), output montage (~10 s), gallery/brand close (~7 s). |
| Captions | No speech subtitles; occasional large, centered white statement text and small UI labels. |
| Sound | Continuous, even music-like bed; rough beat estimate 87 BPM, low confidence. −15.0 LUFS integrated, −1.1 dBFS true peak. No measured pattern of loud effects on cuts. |
| Structure | Four phases: possibility → making → range → brand/CTA. Product demonstration peaks before the final montage. |
