PolyBrute 12 Tactile Launch Film
A music-led synth launch film that turns real performance and control close-ups into visible feature proof.
Field notes / why it works
The first 13.68 seconds have no detected cut, opening on workshop materials before moving to keyboard interaction within the same shot. Sparse feature lines at 0:24, 0:32, 1:00 and 1:21 sit over hands, keys and controls, so claims have physical proof. Cutting then rises to seven cuts in 1:10–1:20, leading into the strongest replay at 1:21.9–1:23.2 on the morph-control touch and keyboard return.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A premium instrument launch film lets viewers feel the product before explaining it. It opens on raw materials and a brand mark, reveals hands playing the finished instrument, then alternates human performance, tactile macro views, and four short feature claims. Music carries the argument; there is no narration or instructional walkthrough.
Why it works
- The first detected shot lasts 13.68 s without a cut, moving within that span from workshop materials to keyboard interaction (visible by 0:06.8); the patient reveal feels crafted.
- Feature claims appear over proof: “FullTouch” at 0:24, 12-voice polyphony at 0:32–0:35, sonic palette at 1:00, and morphing at 1:21. The viewer sees hands, keys, controls, and the touch surface around each claim.
- Editing accelerates after 1:00: 7 cuts in the 1:10–1:20 ten-second block, versus none in the first ten seconds. The top replay at 1:21.9–1:23.2 lands on a morph-control touch and a return to playing.
