Water Filter Cutaway in Ten Seconds
A silent, single-shot 3D cutaway makes the filter's hidden flow path visible, from particulate inlet to clear outlet.
Field notes / why it works
The housing opens by 0:00.75, immediately exposing the hidden mechanism. With no cuts across 10.03 seconds, the viewer can track particles entering around 0:02.2, filling the chamber near the 0:02.9 replay peak, and clear water leaving by about 0:05.0. The contrast between the dirty inlet and clean outlet carries the explanation without speech or labels.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A fixed camera watches a product housing open into a cutaway. A visible input travels around a dark central working element, then a visibly cleaner output exits the bottom. The promise is visual: see how the unseen mechanism works in about ten seconds.
Why it works
- The white shell opens from 0:00–0:00.75, creating an immediate visual question about the inside.
- The material path becomes legible in stages: input at about 0:02.2, buildup by 0:03.0, second chamber by 0:04.0, output by 0:05.0.
- One locked composition preserves spatial orientation across the whole 10.03 s; the viewer can compare dirty and clean sides without a cut.
