Two-Presenter Terminal Launch Demo
A warm, two-presenter product announcement turns into a full coding walkthrough with visible verification and repair.
Field notes / why it works
A candid two-person opening runs for 6.7 seconds before the announcement at 0:17, making the later technical proof feel conversational. The most-replayed moment at 0:37.6–0:40.0 shows the terminal opening; the demo then verifies a working app at 2:10–2:27, runs tests at 2:28–3:05, repairs a build at 3:05–3:28, and delivers the changes by 3:44. Its 32 cuts are restrained, while 63 in-shot screen changes keep the longer proof sections active.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
Two approachable team members make a new developer tool feel human, then hand the film over to a narrated, end-to-end task. The demo earns its claims by showing the tool inspect an unfamiliar project, make a change, verify it, recover from errors, and deliver the work.
Why it works
- The first 6.7 seconds are loose, candid banter in a warm room. The product promise arrives at 0:17–0:30, after the presenters have established a human voice.
- The film shows actual work, including permission prompts, tests, and build repair. The 0:37.6–0:40.0 most-replayed peak coincides with opening the terminal; another peak at 1:19.9–1:22.2 lands as the feature request begins.
- The payoff is checked in the running app at 2:10–2:27, then strengthened with tests at 2:28–3:05, a build at 3:05–3:28, and a repository push at 3:28–3:44.

| Pace | 33 shots, 32 cuts, 8.2–8.5 cuts/min; 63 in-shot changes; about 24.4 total picture changes/min; mean shot 7.09 s, median 4.67 s |
| Script | 527 transcribed words, about 138 words/min across the film; 57 short sentences averaging 9.2 words; one question; first word at 0:00 |
| Voice | Two conversational team-member archetypes: a lower, matter-of-fact engineering voice and a warm, clear product voice; alternating task narration |
| On screen | Approximately 55–60% terminal/app capture and 40–45% presenters (inferred from shot durations); wide two-shot, individual close-ups, and full-screen screen capture |
| Captions | No added subtitles or keyword captions. Only native terminal/app text, a terminal welcome graphic, and the end logo |
| Sound | Steady, soft lo-fi instrumental under speech; no clearly repeated transition effects; measured −16.7 LUFS integrated, −0.4 dBFS true peak |
