Laundry to ergonomic mouse reveal
A 16-second silent product film turns a laundry-and-work moment into a quiet ergonomic mouse reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The opening holds on a moving teal towel for nearly 3 seconds without text or a cut, creating a simple visual question. The headset and small claim establish the work-life context by about 8 seconds; the sole definite cut at 10.44 seconds then gives the product a clean close-up, with its title held from about 13.8 seconds to the end.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet vertical film begins inside an ordinary household task, widens to reveal someone working at the same time, then moves to a close product interaction and a clean hero frame. The product promise arrives through spare white text rather than narration.
Why it works
- The first 2.75 s show a moving teal towel coming out of a washer without an explanation; the visual question makes the viewer wait for context.
- At about 3.5–8.7 s, the headset, mouse and short text turn laundry into a specific work-life scene. One continuous shot lets the context accumulate.
- The single clear cut at 10.44 s changes from a busy room to a hand on the mouse; the hero product and two-line name land by 13.8–14.2 s.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube vertical · 9:16 · 360×640 source · 25 fps · 16.0 s |
| Pace | 2 measured shots, 1 definite cut (3.8/min); two uncertain movement detections at 2.0 and 2.4 s make the machine range 3.8–11.2 cuts/min. Mean shot 8.0 s; text/picture changes at about 8.4 and 13.8 s. |
| Script | No spoken words. Approximately three short text phases: a percentage-led observation, a brief comfort bridge, and a product name plus descriptor. |
| Voice | None. The human appears as a working adult archetype wearing a headset; no audible dialogue is established. |
| On screen | About 65% domestic live action / work context, 35% product close-up and hero. |
| Captions | No subtitles; small white on-scene statements followed by a larger centered white end title. |
| Sound | Tonal music-like bed indicated by measurements; rough beat estimate 134 BPM with low confidence. No reliable evidence of designed cut effects. Integrated −20.9 LUFS, true peak −10.2 dBFS. |
| Structure | 4 beats: action mystery → work context/observation → product interaction/bridge → hero title. Payoff begins at 10.4 s; no explicit CTA. |
