iPhone 17e Feature Cascade
A voice-free product launch film that pairs spare feature cards with polished device motion and brief lifestyle proof.
Field notes / why it works
The name appears at 0:00, and a device reveal supplies motion through the first 3 seconds without a cut. Sparse feature cards alternate with a dense mosaic at 0:14 and a 14.2-second attachment demo at 0:16–0:30, giving claims distinct visual proof. A fast utility sequence around 0:49 coincides with the strongest replay peak.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A premium, voice free product announcement turns one product into a sequence of clean visual proof points. It opens on the name and a moving product reveal, alternates crisp feature labels with demonstrations, then returns to the product name and a short value statement.
Why it works
- The product name is legible from frame one, while circles and a rotating device turn the first 3 seconds into a visual reveal without a cut.
- Every major promise gets its own visual mode: feature cards by 0:04.5, a large image mosaic at 0:14.5, a long attachment demonstration at 0:16–0:30, and camera examples at 0:34–0:44.
- The late utility sequence at 0:48–0:52 uses very short, familiar symbols (button, 5G, USB-C, Face ID); the button-to-5G section around 0:49.4 is the strongest measured replay peak.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 65.0 s · source analysis at 640×360, 30 fps |
| Pace | 13 measured shots, 12 cuts; 11.1–18.5 possible cuts/min including uncertain changes; 17.5 measured picture changes/min; mean shot 5.0 s, median 3.27 s |
| Script | About 16 terse feature or brand cards; no reliable spoken script. The three detected “words” are false transcription of music/noise (inferred from sheets). |
| Voice | None; any human faces appear as lifestyle/product example imagery, not presenters. |
| On screen | Roughly 70% clean typography, device renders, and motion graphics; 30% mosaic/lifestyle/photo demonstrations (estimated from shot durations and sheets). |
| Captions | No subtitles. Short feature headlines and isolated number cards replace narration. |
| Sound | Continuous music like bed, roughly 74 BPM (rough analysis); −15.9 LUFS integrated, −1.8 dBFS true peak. No clear recurring cut effects. |
| Structure | Name/reveal → benefit stack → attachment demo → chip/camera proof → utility flash cards → name/value recap → logo end. No spoken CTA. |
