A Tactile Interface Reveal in 15 Seconds
A vertical product launch film turns a person into translucent UI, then proves the material through rapid abstract and practical close-ups.
Field notes / why it works
A face becomes a translucent home screen in the opening 2.37 seconds, delivering the design idea before the explanation. The 0:03.8–0:11.4 middle alternates colourful material studies with camera, music and lock-screen proof, using five cuts between 0:05 and 0:10. A longer human payoff at 0:11.4 and a clean logo at 0:14 give the fast montage a clear finish; the logo interval contains the strongest replay peak.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A curious, conversational narrator invites the viewer to look at a beautiful change. A person becomes part of a phone interface, then fast tactile abstractions and concrete UI close-ups demonstrate the design idea before a second person and the brand mark close it. The promise begins as an aesthetic question at 0:00 and becomes a product-wide claim around 0:02–0:04.
Why it works
- The first 2.37 s move from a human close-up to that person inside a translucent home screen, so the design idea is visible before it is explained.
- Shots 3–8, from 0:03.8 to 0:11.4, alternate colourful material studies with recognisable camera, controls, music and lock-screen UI; five cuts fall in the 0:05–0:10 interval.
- A new person and warmer palette appear at 0:11.4, delivering a human payoff. The logo at 0:14 is the largest replay peak (0:14.4–0:14.6).
