A wordless car launch film that shifts from an 11-second silhouette to a rapid performance montage and sparse branded close.

Field notes / why it works

A moving dusk silhouette holds for 11.3 seconds while the product name arrives at about 0:01.6, making the shape itself the hook. After 0:22, brief detail and control inserts accelerate the edit; the 0:28.4 performance claim cuts to a driver's reaction at the most-replayed 0:30.2–0:30.8 peak. The film resolves with a 9-second aerial-to-brand passage rather than adding more claims.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A premium product arrives first as a dark moving silhouette, then as tactile design details and finally as an object performing at speed. Only a few white text cards interrupt the footage: name, concrete performance claim and closing promise. Music and movement carry the story; nobody speaks.

Why it works

  • The camera holds one moving side profile for 11.3 seconds, while the title appears at about 1.6 seconds. The product becomes recognizable before the rapid montage begins.
  • The pace changes sharply after 0:22: the 17 detected shots have a 3.12-second mean, but shots 4, 10, 12 and 13 last under 0.7 seconds. Short mechanical and motion inserts give the acceleration sequence physical texture.
  • The most-replayed peak is 0:30.2–0:30.8, where the on-screen 0–100 km/h claim hands off to a tight driver-face shot. The number gains a human reaction at exactly the pace change.

Pace17 detected shots, 16 cuts = 18.1 cuts/min; 10 internal picture steps = 29.4 total changes/min; median shot 1.76 s. The first cut is 11.32 s.
ScriptNo spoken words; three sparse headline moments plus small legal text and an end line. No questions or conversational copy.
VoiceNone. People appear only as silhouettes, a driver POV and a close-up reaction.
On screenNearly all live-action product footage: wide tracking, detail close-ups, cabin POV and high aerial views. Text sits over the footage; no presenter or graphic scene.
CaptionsNo subtitles. Short white, left-aligned title/claim overlays, with small white legal lines at the bottom.
SoundContinuous tonal, music-like bed around 99 BPM (rough estimate); no speech; no clear cut-by-cut effects. −13.6 LUFS integrated, −0.7 dBFS true peak.
StructureSilhouette/name → human scale/design → speed montage/specification → compact sensory montage → final promise/logo. No call to action.
