Personalized Search, Revealed Through Two Questions
A quiet feature launch film uses two contextual search examples, answer close-ups, and a late connected-app reveal.
Field notes / why it works
A short benefit claim resolves within the first second, and the film turns it into two concrete searches at 0:17 and 1:05. The pushes into answer text at 0:50 and 1:17 show exactly why the recommendations fit; the connected-app explanation at 1:29–1:34 lands in the strongest replay window. Twenty-two visual state changes sustain the 113-second film despite only three definite cuts.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A restrained, music led 16:9 feature announcement starts with a single benefit line, then makes an abstract personalization claim tangible through two specific searches. The film moves between vast white space, oversized snippets of answer text, and small phone interface cards; a late account connection reveal explains how the product knows enough to tailor its answers.
Why it works
- The promise appears by 0:00.5, readable alone against white, before the viewer has to parse an interface.
- Two concrete scenarios carry the explanation: a travel related restaurant search around 0:17–0:54 and a weather appropriate coat search around 1:05–1:24.
- The source of the personalization becomes visible at 1:29–1:34, the strongest replay area (1:33.5–1:34.6), after the outcomes have earned curiosity.

| Pace | 4 detected shot spans, 3 definite cuts, 1 uncertain change: 1.6–2.1 cuts/min; 22 internal visual steps, about 13.3 picture changes/min; mean detected span 28.26 s. These long spans contain many animated states. |

| Voice | No identifiable presenter or intelligible narrator in the supplied evidence. |
| On screen | Almost entirely designed UI and typography; brief tiny user portrait in connection graphic. No talking head or live action. |
| Captions | None. Text is product UI, benefit cards, and magnified answer snippets. |
| Sound | Continuous subdued tonal/electronic music bed (inferred); no verified speech or distinct effects. Source measures −20.6 LUFS integrated, −0.4 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Benefit → example one → personalized proof → example two → account connection → many possible queries → closing benefit. No direct spoken CTA. |
