One Cup, Many Worlds
A cinematic coffee commercial turns each suggested drink into a new visual world, then returns to a branded store exit.
Field notes / why it works
The logo and boutique establish the brand by 0:01, while a guide's choice question launches a repeatable sequence of product options. Each option changes setting and color, and physical drink details keep the fantasy grounded; the most-replayed moment at 0:40.3–0:40.9 leads into an iced-coffee pour. Thirty shots in 60 seconds maintain movement, then the edit slows for a final character turn and branded exit.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A customer enters a polished store, and a helpful guide offers product variants. Every choice opens a vividly different world; the customer keeps asking for another possibility until a final encounter returns us to the store and brand. The promise is experiential: {{PRODUCT}} can fit several moods, places, and moments.
Why it works
- A recognizable store and logo establish the category in the first second; the customer and guide meet by 0:02.4.
- Each flavor proposition has a visual payoff: espresso at 0:07–0:12, a bright fantasy world by 0:14–0:22, a city celebration at 0:26–0:30, and iced coffee at 0:40–0:42.
- Repeated short questions restart the sequence. The most-replayed interval, 0:40.3–0:40.9, leads directly into the iced-drink pour.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 60.0 s at 25 fps; measured source 640×360 |
| Pace | 30 detected shots, 29 cuts/min, 31 measured picture changes/min; mean shot 2.0 s, median 1.36 s. Fast motion makes 35 other moments uncertain, so potential cut range is 29–64/min. |
| Script | Automatic transcript: 77 words, 82 wpm across the film, about 166 wpm while speaking; 20 short sentences, 14 questions. Speech recognition is imperfect and the visible subtitles are Turkish. |
| Voice | Two or more conversational adult voices: attentive store guide, curious customer, later a dry surprise cameo archetype. Dialogue, not narration. |
| On screen | Live-action boutique, customer/guide, capsule and machine close-ups, stylized travel/fantasy vignettes, final shopping bag. No UI or chart. |
| Captions | Small white, centered, lower-edge Turkish subtitles; sentence chunks. White brand wordmark appears in the opening and final seconds. |
| Sound | Continuous, music-like bed (measured, genre uncertain); dialogue and natural scene sound. No reliable evidence of regular cut SFX. |
| Structure | Store invitation → variant/world cycles → iced product close-up → comic interruption → branded departure. No explicit spoken CTA. |
